Non-paint Specialist Finishing
Our shot blasting finishing process will clean and enhance the product’s surface texture.
Specialist non-paint finishing, to include all types of plating (zinc & chrome) and anodising, is provided through our quality approved supply chain.
Paint Finishing
Paint finishing is carried out by our in-house paint shop, Final Touch, which is set up in its own dedicated area of the factory, directly linked to our assembly line which leads on to packing and despatch. While the majority of our products receive a powder coated finish as this, generally, provides superior protection and longevity, we also offer wet paint finishes if requested by the customer. Our clients can choose from a wide variety of colours and finishes and we are also able to colour match any sample.
To maintain best quality, we have chosen to powder coat by hand off line, using the latest technology in spray guns. Each part is sprayed manually by our highly experienced team and this approach allows us to keep a keen eye on the process, ensuring that each job reflects the aesthetic look and flawless finish the customer wants. All materials and chemicals we use in our paint shop are RoHS compliant, reflecting our dedication to and responsibility for environmentally friendly processes and products.

Assembly and Despatch
Altex ensures customers receive goods on time in prime condition, suitably packed and protected whilst in transit.
Our final assembly team will kit and assemble products to suit customer requirements.
Special packaging, labeling and delivery arrangements can be accommodated when necessary.
A combination of our own delivery vehicles and a national courier service enables Altex to deliver quality products on time, to anywhere in the UK and worldwide.
